Travis County has achieved a remarkable milestone, recording nearly 41,000 ballots cast on the first day of early voting, setting a new benchmark for first-day turnout for midterm elections this century. This figure represents approximately 4.3% of the county’s 952,713 registered voters, a notable increase from 2.8% during the first day of early voting in the 2022 midterm elections and 4.14% in 2018.

Polling hours are set from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily during early voting, including weekends, with extended hours until 10 p.m. on the final two days at select locations.
Early voting continues until October 30, with Election Day slated for November 3. Voters seeking assistance in planning their voting experience can refer to the Travis County voter guide for more information.
