An Irving man has been apprehended and charged with attempted aggravated kidnapping following an incident at Shady Grove Trail Park. Authorities announced the arrest of 29-year-old Isaac Guevara after receiving multiple tips from community members in response to a public appeal for information.
The police investigation was prompted by an attempted kidnapping reported on September 14 at the park. As part of their initiative to engage the public in crime awareness, law enforcement released images of the suspect during their “Who Done It Wednesday” campaign. This effort encouraged locals to come forward with leads that ultimately led to Guevara’s identification and arrest.
The Irving Police Department expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance in helping to locate the suspect.
