Authorities in Harris County have apprehended a suspect facing serious allegations related to child pornography. Lee Hobbs was taken into custody on Tuesday, charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
The investigation began when officials from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 received credible information regarding suspected child sexual abuse material linked to an online account. Using various legal methods, detectives were able to confirm the existence of this material in the account.
Further inquiries led to the identification of Hobbs as the individual behind the account. During an interview, he reportedly confessed to having child pornography stored in his online account and acknowledged engaging in discussions with others about the sexual abuse of children.
Following the investigation, detectives presented their findings to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which approved three felony charges against Hobbs for possession of child pornography. He was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, where his bond was set at $60,000.
