The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office reported that one of the calls detailed a child attempting to flag down passing vehicles for assistance. Shortly thereafter, additional reports indicated that a shooting had taken place nearby.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a man deceased at the scene, while another individual had already been transported to a local hospital for medical care. Fortunately, the child involved was unharmed.
