Katy Mills Mall has officially reopened its doors after a fire incident that led to the evacuation of its food court on Saturday. The fire was swiftly extinguished, allowing the mall to resume normal operations.
The evacuation was conducted as a safety measure, according to the Katy Office of Emergency Management. Although the fire has been dealt with, one establishment in the food court, specifically the Burger King, remains closed while the situation is assessed.
As of 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, the mall is back to full operation, welcoming visitors once again.
