A man is now in custody following a chase in north Harris County that resulted in injuries to two deputies and damage to two patrol vehicles, as reported by local authorities.
The incident commenced on Kenswick Drive in Humble, situated just north of FM 1960. According to the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, a driver initially collided with a Constable patrol car before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement quickly pursued the suspect, leading to a high-speed chase.
During this pursuit, it was reported that the suspect struck two deputies before crashing into another patrol vehicle. Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to assess the two injured deputies, with one requiring transportation to a hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities have indicated that the suspect exhibited signs of intoxication at the time of the arrest. However, details regarding the deputies’ conditions and the identity of the suspect remain undisclosed.
