A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting at the Cambria Hotel in downtown Austin, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred on January 5, around 6:55 a.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire at the hotel located at 68 East Avenue #824. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds, who was later identified as Luke Bradburn. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Investigations revealed that Bradburn had been involved in a car accident while driving a vehicle registered to Maximillian Salinas. After the crash, he and others in the car fled to the Cambria Hotel. It was there that Salinas confronted and shot Bradburn.
On January 6, authorities apprehended Salinas and charged him with the murder of Bradburn.
