In a troubling incident that occurred in southeast Houston, a woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a family member while police were present at the scene. The event took place on Flamingo Drive, close to the intersections of Bellfort Avenue and Swallow Street.

The police received a call regarding a family disturbance around 8 p.m. on Friday night. Upon arrival, officers found no criminal activity at that time and opted to separate the involved parties while remaining on-site.

However, just before 10 p.m., a second disturbance erupted, during which the woman reportedly stabbed a family member. Witnesses indicated that she fled the residence screaming, with the victim also exiting the home shortly after. The injured individual sustained a stab wound to the back and was transported to a hospital, where he is expected to make a full recovery.
