HOUSTON – Rain showers are anticipated to make an appearance starting Wednesday in the Houston area, though they are expected to be sporadic in nature.
On Tuesday, dry air continues to dominate Southeast Texas, allowing residents to enjoy a day filled with sunshine, light winds, and comfortable temperatures. Evening temperatures are projected to be approximately 10°F warmer than they were the previous night, reaching around 80°F by Wednesday afternoon.
As midweek approaches, moisture will begin to make its way back into the region, resulting in increased cloud cover and a chance of scattered showers. While the rain is expected to be intermittent, some isolated downpours could occur, particularly on Thursday.
Looking ahead to late in the week, a more robust weather system is forecasted to move in on Friday and Saturday, increasing the likelihood of showers and thunderstorms. These storms may bring bouts of heavier rain, but overall, the precipitation is anticipated to be inconsistent.
