Authorities in McKinney are currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a young man. The incident occurred on Friday night in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Officers were dispatched to the Larkin Apartments, located on West White Street, shortly after 8:30 p.m. in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Jose Herberto Martin inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Martin was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
