Dallas Police have apprehended two teenagers in connection with a double homicide that occurred in March, as well as a separate fatal shooting in June. The suspects, 17-year-old Erving Estrada and 19-year-old Latavien Clark, are facing serious charges related to these violent incidents.
Both individuals have been charged with the murders of 21-year-old Madreus Ward and 20-year-old Ethan Dillard at an apartment complex located on Audelia Road in Far North Dallas on March 15. They are currently being held without bond at the Dallas County Jail.
Details of the Audelia Road Homicides
The tragic events unfolded around 9:45 p.m. at the apartment complex situated in the 12100 block of Audelia Road. According to an arrest affidavit for Estrada, authorities discovered the two victims deceased in their vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators were able to identify Estrada and Clark—known to witnesses as “Bando” and “Gen5,” respectively—through interviews and evidence collected at the scene. Witnesses indicated that the suspects had been present in the vehicle with the victims prior to the shootings. Fingerprints obtained from the vehicle ultimately matched those of both suspects, leading to their arrest on June 24, 2026, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Connection to the Walnut Street Homicide
Estrada has also been linked to a murder that took place on June 16 at the 9800 block of Walnut Street. In that incident, police found 35-year-old Ronnika Davenport suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Witnesses again mentioned the “Bando” nickname, stating that Estrada was allegedly targeting them after they ridiculed a deceased friend of his on social media. Law enforcement identified Estrada through a white Dodge Charger that appeared in photographs from the scene. Upon his arrest, police discovered a handgun that corresponded with bullet casings from the night of Davenport’s murder.
Additionally, the firearm was connected to a separate shooting incident on March 13, suggesting that Estrada may have been involved in that case as well.
Unanswered Questions
As of now, authorities have not disclosed a motive for the homicides on Audelia Road. The investigation continues as police work to uncover further details surrounding these violent events.
