This gathering marks the inaugural Republican Midterm Convention, and the agenda promises to tackle key issues such as tax cuts, healthcare affordability, border security, trade, and domestic manufacturing. The second night will spotlight families benefiting from policies including the exemption of taxes on tips and overtime, along with a tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Vice President J.D. Vance is set to deliver the keynote address on the first night, while Donald Trump will headline the second night, making appearances on both evenings.

The Dallas Police Department estimates that security for the event will cost approximately $1.8 million. Streets surrounding the American Airlines Center will be closed from September 7 until midnight on September 11, affecting several key routes including Victory Avenue, North Houston Street, Nowitzki Way, Payne Street, and North Field Street.
