A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Harris County on Tuesday. Authorities have charged 29-year-old Elijah Walker with murder following the incident that resulted in the death of 26-year-old Curtis Veazie.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, law enforcement was dispatched to the vicinity of West Little York Road and Hollister Street after reports of a dispute. The altercation reportedly involved two roommates arguing over apartment rental payments.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Walker was taken into custody and is now being held at the Harris County Jail.
