Body of Woman Discovered Behind Southeast Houston Strip Center; Suspect Allegedly Abandoned Her

A woman’s body was discovered behind a strip center in Southeast Houston, prompting an investigation into her death. Authorities are exploring the circumstances surrounding the incident, which involved an unidentified male suspect.

The grim discovery was made on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:20 a.m. when police received reports of a body located on Cullen Boulevard, near Wilmington Street. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials pronounced the woman dead.

According to police accounts, witnesses indicated that a Black male suspect was seen dragging the woman from the back seat of a dark gray Chevrolet Trailblazer before fleeing the area.

As of now, the victim has not been identified, though authorities confirmed that she was 48 years old. No additional information regarding the suspect has been released, leaving many questions unanswered.
