One man was fatally shot and another is in critical condition following a double shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in the Cedar Crest neighborhood of Dallas. The incident took place in the 3900 block of Linfield Road.
The victim who lost his life has been identified as 28-year-old Nigel Calhoun. The second victim was rushed to a local medical facility, where he remains hospitalized and in critical condition.
Dallas Police received reports of the shooting at 2:09 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered that both men had sustained multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by unidentified assailants. Despite the ongoing investigation, no suspects have been apprehended, and authorities have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
