The State Fair of Texas will once again offer complimentary admission to Dallas Independent School District (DISD) students in 2026, thanks to the city’s Teen All Access Pass initiative. This announcement was made by a member of the Dallas Park Board, who emphasized the importance of expanding cultural and recreational access for local youth.
Rudy Karimi, the Park Board member representing City Council District 14, shared details via a Facebook post regarding an email from Mitchell Glieber, the president of the State Fair of Texas. The email confirmed the fair’s commitment to participate in the Teen All Access Pass program, which aims to enhance accessibility for eligible students.
The Teen All Access Pass, managed by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, offers free or discounted entry to various attractions for qualifying DISD students. Karimi hailed the program as “wildly successful” and noted that the reinstatement of free admission to the State Fair is a significant advantage for Dallas teens and their families.
According to the email, John D. Jenkins, the Director of Park and Recreation, played a pivotal role in advocating for this initiative. The State Fair’s ticketing and marketing teams will collaborate with Park and Recreation staff to ensure that all necessary information is communicated effectively and promptly.
Glieber expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, “We look forward to making this opportunity available to the Dallas teens that participate, and we hope that our participation might lead to increased growth in the overall program.”
Further details on how students can obtain their tickets, along with the complete schedule of fair dates, will be announced ahead of Fall 2026.
