A tragic incident in Taylor, Texas, has resulted in the death of an 81-year-old man after he was struck by a vehicle. The driver has been charged with murder following the event.
The collision occurred on July 24 at approximately 10:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Baylor Scott and White Hospital, located at 305 Mallard Lane. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find James Killough, the pedestrian, suffering from serious injuries. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The driver involved in the incident, identified as 43-year-old Jesse Jackson from Spring, fled the scene. Authorities were able to locate him later in the 2700 block of North Drive. Following an investigation into the circumstances of the crash, Jackson was arrested and subsequently charged with murder.
