In a tragic incident early Saturday morning, a collision between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck in northwest Houston resulted in the death of one individual. The accident occurred in the 2600 block of West Mount Houston Road, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the crash, both directions of West Mount Houston Road were closed to traffic as authorities worked to manage the situation.
