Authorities in Forest Hill are actively seeking 53-year-old Taylor Danny Ray Jr. in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday evening. The incident took place in the 4200 block of Bowling Green Street, resulting in one person dead at the scene and another hospitalized.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 5:47 p.m., where they discovered two individuals suffering from injuries. While one victim was pronounced dead on-site, the second was transported to a local medical facility for further treatment. The name of the deceased has not been publicly disclosed as authorities await notification of family members.

Ray has been identified as the suspect wanted under a murder warrant. Investigators believe he may be driving a white 2014 Cadillac CTS, bearing Texas license plate KCM1104. Law enforcement officials have urged the public to refrain from approaching Ray or his vehicle and instead to contact police immediately if he is spotted.

The Forest Hill Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is leading the investigation, with support from the Texas Rangers, Tarrant County Crime Scene Division, and the Fort Worth Police Department.
