Houston Police Close After Hours Club Following Neighbor Complaints

Houston police conducted a raid on an after-hours club that was operating without the necessary permits early Saturday morning, responding to numerous complaints from local residents.

Officers arrived at the establishment located in the 6500 block of Laura Koppe Road to find an estimated 75 to 90 individuals inside. Upon their arrival, some patrons attempted to flee back into the building, prompting the police to execute a search warrant.

Captain Jonathan French indicated that the community has been vocal about their frustrations, citing ongoing issues with crime and disturbances attributed to the club’s late-night activities. “The citizens of this northeast area, particularly in this neighborhood, are tired of the late nights, the screeching tires, the gunshots, and the crime that accompany these unpermitted clubs,” he stated.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed the identity of the individual who was taken into custody, nor have they revealed any charges that may be filed against them.
