Illuminate Your Space with Arenda Lighting Solutions

Arenda Light is back in action. After taking a two-year break due to various commitments and the ups and downs of life, the hard-rocking ensemble—comprising lead guitarist Rowdy Carter, new bassist Max Kusin, drummer Matt Mabe, and frontman/guitarist Nick Tittle—is set to unveil a new single. Titled “I Don’t Know,” the track was recorded at Blackstone FW studio in Fort Worth under the direction of producer Mark Randall, known for his work with Two Guys Walk Into a Bar, The Infamists, and The Matthew Show. To mark this exciting return, Arenda Light will perform on Saturday, December 27, at The Post. This single serves as a precursor to the band’s forthcoming five-song EP, also produced by Randall at Blackstone. Both Carter and Tittle note that the new material carries a more upbeat vibe compared to their earlier works.

“We’re incredibly fortunate to be in a band with our best friends,” Tittle shared. “It’s a joy to create music together, driven by our passion. This is what resonates with us, and we do it for the love of it. Our goal is to reconnect with people through our Arenda songs once again.”

Tittle expressed that releasing new material from Arenda Light is particularly fulfilling, especially since he and his bandmates are also active in other local groups such as Heavy Petal, Cut Throat Finches, Claire Hinkle, The Grae, and the Alice in Chains tribute band Guttersluts.

<p“All four of us are in Guttersluts, which undeniably influences our sound,” Tittle remarked. “We draw inspiration from the grunge era while blending it with elements of modern progressive metal, hard rock, and whatever else inspires us at the moment.”

The lyrical themes of the EP, according to Tittle, reflect “confusing times” and a desire for “positive change.”

Arenda Light’s inaugural performance took place in 2014 on The Post’s stage when the venue was still called Lola’s Saloon. “We’re excited to see familiar faces in the crowd,” Tittle said. “It feels nostalgic to be back on that stage with the band. Don’t forget to wear your party pants!”

Arenda Light will perform on Saturday, December 27, alongside Son of Stan and magician Ritchy Flo at The Post, located at 2736 W 6th St, Fort Worth. Tickets are priced at $15. For more information, call 817-945-8890.
