Leander police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at an assisted living facility, resulting in property damage. Authorities responded to The Haven at San Gabriel, located at 1253 West San Gabriel Parkway, shortly after 3:40 a.m. on Saturday following reports of gunfire.
According to investigators, an unidentified individual approached the facility and discharged several rounds towards the front of the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although the structure did sustain damage.
At this time, authorities have not disclosed whether they have identified a suspect in the case. They have indicated that they believe the shooting to be an isolated incident.
