In a troubling incident that unfolded in Midtown Houston, three individuals were hospitalized due to gunfire that erupted during a large fight early Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. on West Gray Street, near the intersection of I-45 and Bagby. According to law enforcement, chaos ensued as a significant altercation broke out, prompting one participant to draw a firearm and open fire. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle, continuing to discharge the weapon as they drove along the street.
Among the victims were a woman who sustained a gunshot wound to one leg and a graze on the other, a man who suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, and another man found with gunshot wounds to his back. All three individuals are reported to be innocent bystanders, and fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening.
Details surrounding the shooter remain unclear, with no suspects identified at this time. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
