Authorities have released additional details regarding a fatal shooting that occurred at an apartment complex in the Gulfton area over the weekend. Investigators are seeking assistance from the public to gather further information about the incident.
The incident took place on Sunday morning at a complex located on Glenmont Drive, in proximity to Gulfton Street and Renwick Drive. Police received a report of an unresponsive individual found in the walkway outside an apartment.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting occurred sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Reports indicate that the 55-year-old man was seated outside his family’s apartment when he was shot by one or more assailants.
At this time, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed, and law enforcement has not released any descriptions of potential suspects.
