AUSTIN, Texas – On Saturday, March 28, a new series of protests under the banner of No Kings Day will take place across the United States, with significant events scheduled in Austin and Central Texas.
The protests are organized in response to various issues, including the Trump administration’s policies, the ongoing conflict in Iran, immigration enforcement, and economic concerns, according to details available on the No Kings website.
Local Events
Multiple protests will occur throughout Central Texas, spanning from San Marcos to Georgetown and extending towards Bastrop. The schedule and locations for these events are as follows:
- Austin: 1-4 p.m., marching from Austin City Hall to Auditorium Shores
- Cedar Park: 1-4 p.m. at East Whitestone Boulevard and the US 183A frontage road
- Marble Falls: 1-3 p.m. at the Lake Marble Falls Bridge
- Pflugerville: 1-4 p.m. at the Pflugerville Fire Department Station 3 on Kelly Lane
- Round Rock: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Big Boy Hester Family Field/Memorial Park
- San Marcos: 1-3 p.m. at the Hays County Courthouse
Earlier protests and rallies have already taken place in other Central Texas cities, including Bastrop, Dripping Springs, Georgetown, Kyle, Lago Vista, Lockhart, New Braunfels, and Taylor.

Event organizers are urging the public to participate and to bring signs if they choose.
