A missing teenager from Pflugerville is now in police custody following an armed robbery incident that occurred at a pool in Manor over the weekend.
According to the Manor Police Department, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a pool party located at the Presidential Glen HOA Pool on Andrew Johnson Drive around 9:11 p.m. on April 25.
Authorities have identified the suspect as a 13-year-old who had been reported missing from Pflugerville. The minor allegedly brandished a handgun while stealing a watch from another teenager at the pool.
Approximately one hour later, police located the suspect at a residence within the Presidential Heights subdivision. After fleeing through the backyard into a nearby field, the teenager was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.
The stolen watch was recovered and is set to be returned to its rightful owner.
In addition to being listed as a missing person, the teen was also wanted as a fugitive, with a “directive to apprehend” issued for breaching probation conditions.
The suspect has been transported to the Gardner Betts Juvenile Detention Center in Austin.
