Police Hunt for Woman Who Used Stolen Credit Cards from Austin Hotel

Austin police are actively searching for a woman suspected of stealing credit cards from a hotel guest and subsequently using them at various businesses in the Austin area.

On October 24, a guest at the Hampton Inn reported that their hotel room had been burglarized, and several credit cards were missing. Authorities indicated that surveillance footage captured the suspect using the stolen credit cards at multiple locations, including Walmart and Murphy’s gas station on E. Ben White Boulevard, as well as a CVS Pharmacy on E. Riverside Drive.

The suspect is described as a woman of either white or Hispanic descent, aged between 50 and 55 years, with a medium build. She has short, curly dark hair and was last seen wearing khaki pants, a dark shirt, and glasses.
