A man was shot and killed at the front desk of the Budget Inn in Austin, leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in the incident. The Austin Police Department has taken a man into custody following the deadly altercation that occurred on May 8.
The shooting took place around 7:30 p.m. at the Budget Inn located on North IH 35 SB. Emergency responders were alerted by a call indicating that a man had been shot at the motel’s front desk. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as Se Hun, suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries on May 14.
Authorities identified the suspect as Sean Walton. Investigations revealed that Walton engaged in a dispute with Hun before brandishing a firearm and shooting him. Following the incident, Walton was reportedly seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle. He was apprehended on May 10 in Cibolo, Texas, and is currently being held at the Guadalupe County Jail.
