Sam Musgrave, a graduate of Sanger High School, was known for his promising future and passion for running. His uncle, Evan Vasquez, shared that Musgrave had recently completed his basic training with the Texas Army National Guard and finished his first semester at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.

Among his peers in Sanger, Musgrave was regarded as a dedicated runner and a cherished friend. “He was on the right track,” Vasquez remarked. “He had a strong community here in Sanger and was loved by everyone he met.” His achievements included excelling in cross-country and track, and he had secured a full scholarship for track at the university.
