In a tragic incident early Saturday morning, three individuals lost their lives in a fire in Weatherford, Texas. Emergency responders were dispatched shortly before 1 a.m. to a residence located on Stonebridge Trail, where they encountered heavy smoke and flames.
According to Erin Spicer, a spokesperson for the city, firefighters worked diligently to rescue those trapped inside the home. While three victims were confirmed dead at the scene, one individual was transported to a local hospital, with their condition currently unknown.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
