Authorities are investigating the tragic deaths of a mother and her teenage son, who were discovered shot in southeast Harris County. The incident occurred at a residence on Windy Spring Lane.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call early in the morning regarding the shooting. Upon arrival, they found the 17-year-old son deceased at the scene. The mother, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the face, was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
At the time of the incident, there was also a teenage daughter present in the home, but details surrounding the circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.
