Two Women Arrested for Alleged Trafficking of Missing Montgomery County Minor

Two women, both aged 20 and from Houston, are currently in custody on charges of trafficking a missing minor in Montgomery County.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects, Norma Lewis and Niasia Harrell, have been charged with Trafficking of a Child. Their arrest follows an investigation into a missing child case, during which detectives reportedly discovered the minor’s image in online advertisements linked to illicit activities.

Authorities indicated that the advertisements led to a meeting arranged at a hotel in Montgomery County. Upon arrival, county detectives and Texas Department of Public Safety agents located the two women alongside the missing minor in a vehicle. Following their arrest, the minor received medical care and support services before being reunited with family members.

At this time, no additional information regarding the case has been released.
