As the anticipation builds for the arrival of Panthy season in November, Fort Worth is poised to celebrate its vibrant music scene. The city is home to some of the finest talents in North Texas, and to honor this, a unique awards season is set to take place, distinct from the Best Of edition. This time, musicians will have their moment to shine in November and December.
Nomination Phase
Throughout November, dedicated readers will have the opportunity to nominate their favorite local bands and musicians using a write-in ballot. This process will resemble the Best Of ballot format, allowing participants to select from various categories and even include a Wildcard option to highlight any overlooked talent. After all, everyone makes mistakes.
Voting Phase
The bands and musicians receiving the highest number of nominations will advance to the Voting Phase, where, during December, readers will choose their favorites from a final list. Both the Nomination and Voting Phases will allow only one ballot per person, so participants are advised to play fair, as any attempts to cheat will be detected.
Music Awards Ceremony
In early 2027, an extravagant awards ceremony will be held to announce and celebrate the winners of 2026. This event will also pay tribute to those who have been lost and will include the induction of notable figures into the Hall of Fame.
