From now until Sunday, November 30, Burger Bodega and House of Pies are collaborating to offer a special Bayou Goo Pie Shake for $10, available at Burger Bodega, 4520 Washington. This delightful shake is served Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It features the beloved Bayou Goo from House of Pies, which includes layers of creamy sweet cream cheese, pecans, vanilla custard, and chocolate shavings, all blended into a classic Burger Bodega milkshake, topped off with milk chocolate shavings.
In celebration of 15 years since its inception in Miami, PINCHO is marking the occasion with festivities in both Miami and Houston. From November 28 to December 4, patrons can indulge in favorites from their menu such as the Cartel Burger and Cartel Hot Dog. Guests can choose from a signature beef patty or an all-beef hot dog, topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, papitas, pink sauce, and mango sauce, all served on a butter-toasted brioche bun.
The Kid, located at 1815 North Durham, is hosting a special Cocktails for a Cause event on Friday, December 5, from 4 to 9 p.m., to raise funds for Kids’ Meals Houston. Attendees can enjoy two signature cocktails: the Comeback Kid, made with bourbon donated by Redemption Bourbon, and the Kids’ Table, featuring cantaloupe syrup and lime. All proceeds from the event will support the nonprofit’s mission to combat childhood hunger. Children are welcome until 7 p.m., and Happy Hour food prices will be available until that time.
Whiskey Cake is throwing a Prohibition Party at all its Houston locations on Friday, December 5, where guests can legally enjoy whiskey while embracing a spirit of mischief. The event will feature live music, hand-rolled cigars on the patio, and bartenders crafting bootleg-inspired cocktails from Whiskey Cake’s scratch bar. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the band starting at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in themed attire, and admission is free.
Brasserie 19, located at 1962 West Gray, is ushering in the holiday season with a lively holiday edition of its monthly brunch party, Santa Le Brunch de Funk, on Saturday, December 6, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Attendees can expect melted raclette, festive cocktails, and a live DJ spinning seasonal tunes and chic brunch beats. Guests are encouraged to wear Christmas sweaters or cozy pajamas for the occasion.
The Audrey, situated at 9595 Six Pines, will host a magical Holiday Nutcracker Tea on Saturday and Sunday, December 6–7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This enchanting event will feature elegant teas, festive treats, and appearances by Nutcracker ballerinas, including Clara and her playful mice, who will be dancing through the dining room for delightful photo opportunities. Reservations can be made via OpenTable for either day.
