Austin police have apprehended a massage therapist in connection with a sexual assault reported at a spa in North Austin. Authorities are encouraging any additional victims to come forward.

The incident reportedly occurred on November 2 at approximately 1:30 p.m. at a spa located at 11011 Domain Drive. The victim reported the assault a few days later, identifying the suspect as Edwin Vargas-Garzon, a 48-year-old massage therapist employed at the facility.
Arrest and Charges
Following an investigation by detectives, Vargas-Garzon was arrested on February 7. He now faces three counts of second-degree felony sexual assault. County court records indicate that he was released on bail totaling $15,000, which includes a no-contact order with the victim.
