Two individuals tragically lost their lives early Sunday morning following a two-vehicle accident in Southeast Dallas. The incident occurred near the intersection of Military Parkway and North Jim Miller Road.
The driver involved, identified as 22-year-old Isaac Chacon, has been arrested and is facing serious charges, including two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of collision involving death. The authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the victims as the investigation continues.
Dallas police responded to the scene around 2:09 a.m. after receiving a call for assistance. According to investigators, Chacon crashed into another vehicle, resulting in one fatality at the scene and another subsequent death at a local hospital.
Witnesses at the scene detained Chacon until law enforcement arrived. The investigation into this double fatality remains active, and further details are expected as police gather more information.
