A tragic turn of events has unfolded in Katy, Texas, where 5-year-old Edward Hall, who was recently reported missing, has been found deceased. His body was located in a lake near his home, as confirmed by officials from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Edward Hall was last seen on Sunday afternoon in the vicinity of Tamarron Trace and Tamarron Parkway. The search for the young boy prompted an Amber Alert, which highlighted the urgency of the situation. Early Monday morning, around 1:43 a.m., a search team from Texas EquuSearch discovered his body.
Authorities have stated that there are currently no indications of foul play, and the investigation is ongoing. Hall had been reported missing from Ryans Rock Court, raising immediate concerns within the community.
While the cause of death has yet to be determined, Texas EquuSearch expressed their condolences, stating, “It is with the greatest sadness that we announce that little Eddie Hall has been located. Our deepest condolences go out to the family during this tragic time. A special thanks to the EquuSearch members, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, and the first responders who remained on scene all day and assisted with the search.”
