In response to the overwhelming turnout of fans without tickets, the organizers shifted the rally’s start time from 5 p.m. to 3 p.m. The park is filled with fervent supporters who are eager to celebrate their team, having been priced out of the resale market for tickets. The duration of the festivities remains unclear, as dedicated fans express their intention to remain in the park until they are asked to leave, ahead of the noon kickoff on Monday.
The atmosphere at Klyde Warren Park is electric, with a sea of blue and white filling the area, making it a challenge to navigate through the throngs of fans. Attendees from various locations, including lifelong fans from Israel and nearby Fort Worth, share their passion for the team. “We just love the Argentina feel. We just love the crowd, the people, everything,” stated Anthony Avila, who traveled from Houston. Hector Andino, an Argentina fan residing in Fort Worth, echoed this sentiment, sharing their disappointment in not securing tickets but declaring, “Nothing was going to stop us from getting here. Nothing is going to stop us from having a good time and cheering our country on.”
The early start to the rally reflects the massive crowds that continue to pour into the park. One fan remarked, “We’ll be here until they kick us out of the park!” indicating the unwavering spirit of the supporters.
