A woman was discovered deceased in a field on East Seminary Drive in Forest Hill on Tuesday afternoon. Initial investigations suggest that her death may be connected to the recent cold weather, and authorities do not suspect foul play.
At approximately 4:41 p.m. on January 27, 2026, Fort Worth police responded to a report of an unresponsive female in the 2900 block of East Seminary Drive. Upon arrival, Fort Worth Fire EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives were called to investigate, but current assessments indicate that her death is likely due to the cold weather conditions, with no indications of criminal activity involved.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been made public, nor has the official cause of death been confirmed, pending analysis from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Moving forward, the Medical Examiner’s Office will work to ascertain the manner and cause of death, as well as the identity of the woman.
