DFW International Airport Named the Most Stressful Airport in the U.S.

DFW International Airport has been designated as the most stressful airport in the United States, according to a recent study.

The analysis, conducted by RightWay Parking, assessed various airports across the nation, focusing on factors such as flight cancellations, delays, and the distance travelers must cover to reach the airport.

Flight statistics from the Federal Bureau of Transportation indicate that in 2025, nearly 28% of flights departing from DFW experienced delays, while just under 3% were canceled. The frequency of delays has been rising consistently since 2021.

Additionally, the airport’s location approximately 20 miles from downtown Dallas contributed to its ranking, as longer travel distances can add to the stress of air travel.
