On Saturday afternoon, the inaugural 3rd Coast Bucking rodeo event took place in Rosenberg, Texas, drawing in a large crowd eager for entertainment. The event featured thrilling bull riding, bull fighting, and performances from prominent artists, including Mexican O.T. and Paul Wall, among others.
Mexican O.T. and other performers not only showcased their musical talents but also participated in the adrenaline-pumping bull riding events at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds. “We just threw it all in the bowl and shook it around, and here we got this event,” said Ruben Gonzalez, one of the main organizers and cousin of Mexican O.T. He emphasized the unique blend of cultures, stating, “We came together to do something completely different than anybody has ever seen in the Western industry and urban hip hop industry, the music industry.”
The event attracted thousands of attendees and included performances from various stars such as Paul Wall, Mexican O.T., and Brandon Keith. “It’s great to see the community come together like this, especially bringing both western and hip-hop worlds together,” remarked main organizer Angel Mendonza. He expressed excitement about the event’s success, noting, “It’s a good feeling to know that something that we were just talking about months ago is coming into flourish, and I cannot wait to see how everyone reacts to it afterwards.”
