Fatal Hit and Run Incident in East Harris County: What You Need to Know

A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred in east Harris County, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. The collision took place on Woodforest Boulevard, near Normandy Street, on Friday night.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the victim, a 57-year-old man, was crossing the street towards an apartment complex around 8 p.m. when he was struck by a white pickup truck, which then continued driving east on Woodforest Boulevard.

Emergency personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Investigation efforts have revealed car parts left behind, indicating that the suspect’s vehicle may be a Ram truck manufactured between 2013 and 2018.

As of now, the identities of those involved in the incident remain unknown. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
