A man was found deceased following what appears to be a hit-and-run incident on Stuebner Airline Road in Harris County, Texas. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, which occurred on Monday evening in the northern part of Houston.
According to Sergeant Beaty, deputies from District 1 responded to a call regarding a male lying in the grass near Fernglade Drive. Upon their arrival, they discovered the man on the eastern side of the road, where emergency medical services later confirmed his death at the scene.
Witnesses reported that they had been walking along the road when they noticed the man and subsequently contacted emergency services. Evidence at the scene included vehicle parts located near the victim, indicating that he had been struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the area. At this time, authorities do not have a description of the vehicle involved, but they are hopeful that the recovered parts may provide clues about its make and model.
