A Galveston man has been apprehended for allegedly unlawfully detaining an individual while impersonating a law enforcement officer. Authorities are now reaching out for information regarding any additional victims.
Joshua Warner, 44, was arrested on December 22 and is facing two counts of impersonating a public servant. He has been assigned a bond of $250,000 for each charge.
According to investigators, reports surfaced in early November regarding an individual being unlawfully detained by someone posing as an officer. Warner was subsequently identified as the impersonator and was arrested at his residence.
At this time, specific details regarding the alleged detainment remain undisclosed.
