KERR COUNTY, Texas – H-E-B has initiated a three-day disaster relief operation to assist those affected by recent flooding in Kerr County. The effort is part of the company’s Disaster Response Unit, which will be stationed at the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville.
From Saturday, July 18, through Monday, July 20, the mobile kitchen will offer free meals to the community. The schedule includes breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m., lunch from noon to 2 p.m., and dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. In addition to meals, cleaning supplies will be distributed daily starting at noon while supplies last.
Kerr County officials have informed residents to use the back entrance on Riverside Drive for picking up meals or supplies, with traffic being managed to ensure smooth access to Texas 27.
This initiative comes as local residents continue their recovery and cleanup efforts following the severe flooding. County officials expressed gratitude toward H-E-B for its ongoing support and commitment to disaster response in the community.
