A prisoner from Liberty County is currently at large after escaping from custody at a hospital in Kingwood early Saturday morning.

Authorities report that 31-year-old Yorlan Rafael Reyes fled from the Kingwood Emergency Room around 5:15 a.m. The escape occurred at HCA Houston Healthcare, located near Highway 59 and Kingwood Drive.

Reyes was last seen wearing an orange jail jumpsuit, orange Crocs, and white boxers. He is described as Hispanic, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing between 190 and 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

In light of this incident, officials are urging the public to remain vigilant. If anyone spots Reyes, they are advised not to approach him. Instead, individuals should call 911 and provide his location, description, and the direction in which he is traveling.
