HOUSTON – Residents in the Houston area experienced hail overnight, with reports emerging from various locations including Sugar Land and Pearland. The hail activity was recorded between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday and 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
Looking ahead, more hail could be on the horizon as weather forecasts indicate the possibility of two to three additional rounds of rain moving across the region from west to east throughout Friday.
A flood watch is currently in effect until 4 a.m. on Saturday, impacting a significant area of southeast Texas. This watch encompasses several counties, including Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Coastal Harris, Colorado, Fort Bend, Grimes, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller, Washington, and Wharton.
