Additionally, heavy rainfall may result in isolated street flooding, particularly from Saturday night into Sunday morning.
As the stormy weather clears, a cooler and drier air mass is expected to sweep in early next week, bringing more comfortable temperatures and lower humidity to the region. Many areas just north of Houston may experience temperatures dipping into the 40s on Monday night into Tuesday morning, providing a brief opportunity to enjoy cooler weather.
