Texas Rangers are currently conducting an investigation into an officer-involved shooting that followed a vehicle pursuit, which originated in Williamson County and concluded in Bell County.
The incident took place late Sunday night, resulting in the closure of several roadways as part of the standard protocol for such situations. The vehicle chase was initiated by the Jarrell Police Department and ended near Temple at Exit 306 on I-35.
The driver involved in the incident was transported to a nearby hospital and was receiving medical care as of Sunday night. Fortunately, no law enforcement officers sustained injuries during the event.
