Streamer and Security Guard Arrested in College Station Incident

In a recent incident in College Station, Texas, popular Twitch streamer Benjamin Beard, known online as BenDaDonnn, was arrested alongside his alleged security guard following a confrontation with local police.

Authorities confirm that the 34-year-old Beard was charged with evading arrest, with a bond set at $7,000. His companion, 29-year-old Kenny Carter, faces a charge of interference with public duties, carrying a bond of $4,000.

The incident occurred during an operation where police were attempting to clear a roadway outside a bar. Reports indicate that a group of individuals refused to follow police instructions. When an officer attempted to guide one person off the street, that individual reportedly slapped the officer’s hand away.

As the officer sought to detain the first suspect, Carter allegedly intervened, claiming to be the security guard for Beard. During the scuffle, police stated that an officer employed a “less-lethal tool” on Beard as he attempted to flee. In the process, Carter reportedly pushed the officer to the ground while the arrest was being made.

Both suspects were taken into custody, and authorities later found a firearm on Carter. The specific nature of the “less-lethal tool” utilized in the incident has not been disclosed by the police.
